It was horrible - and Shadows definitely gives you a nice look into Dawson and Beth's relationship!!
hbjgvhuogyihpohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13423921074285441384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-707631051198193918.post-5395181365503819032013-06-07T18:03:21.211-07:002013-06-07T18:03:21.211-07:00Yes! This book was definitely my least favorite. T...Yes! This book was definitely my least favorite. The romance was so... domestic. Nothing like the romance I'd grown to love over the first two books. I hope JLA gets her groove back in book 4 because if they continue on like Opal, then I'm afraid I might just get bored of Katy and Daemon. When I started this series I thought this would be one of my favorites and when people started recommending the covenant series I was like.. yea no, I am not going to love it more than the lux series! and even after reading the first book, Half Blood, I was like for sure The Lux is better.. but I felt while The Covenant series got SO GOOOOD with each book, the lux series lost its original charm from Obsidian. I LOVE LOVE The covenant series, easily one of my all time favorites!

anyways, that ENDING killed the book for me. I felt it was a bit predictable and I hate it when books center around ONE task and it becomes what the whole book is about.. the whole build up only to get cut then.. that was so annoying!

great review,
- Juhina @ Maji BookshelfMaji Bookshelfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10041371370691545149noreply@blogger.com
