If it's done ridiculously so than that would be annoying. I've wanted to get my hands on this forever! I like that the author put in Amish beliefs and showed their culture. Must check if my library has this!Adriana @ BooksOnHerMindhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00564998651703349031noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-707631051198193918.post-15164674444097676692013-09-08T11:34:47.373-07:002013-09-08T11:34:47.373-07:00I'm okay with a little gore! I love to escape into Amish books because it is a peaceful place for me. So, to read a lot of brutal violence in a book about the Amish would bother me. Jodi Picoult wrote "Plain Truth" about an Amish secret, and I liked it but it wasn't violent. But, I loved the movie Witness. There was no sugar coating, which I liked. This was the end of the world, and all of the gruesome things that came with it. I really loved Katie as a character and the entire plot really just worked for this story. I read it last Halloween so I was really into the whole horror/suspense thing at the time ;) Awesome review!Jessehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09095395291184491042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-707631051198193918.post-14686855834366542172013-09-05T18:04:19.335-07:002013-09-05T18:04:19.335-07:00Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
