Randomness: Christmas Books

I love reading Christmas books! There just so charming. I want nothing more than to settle down in front of the wood stove on a blustery December day and read a good Christmas book. Last year I started reading Christmas books at the beginning of November and I read a total of 9 books. These are all the ones I read last year:

I enjoyed every single one of these books! My favorite being Finding Noel. As you can see I got on a little Richard Paul Evans kick, I read every single Christmas book he had at the time. I absolutely LOVE his writing style! If you haven't read one of his books yet I suggest you give one a try. You won't be sorry!

This year I'm getting a late start but I still hope to squeeze in a few before the holiday is over. Here are the ones on my to read list this season:

The Red Suit Diaries by Ed Butchart
The Christmas Shoes by Donna VanLiere
The Christmas Promise by Donna VanLiere
Skipping Christmas by John Grisham
A Stranger for Christmas by Carol Lynn Pearson
Lost December by Richard Paul Evans

What's your favorite Christmas book?

  1. I love your adult Christmas selections -- some I've read and are my favorites. Richard Paul Evan's books are akways excellent reads. But, I think "The Christmas Shoes," is my favorite of the ones you listed. I haven't read "Father Christmas" or the Sequel, or John Grisham's and they intrigue me!I have two for you: An Amish Christmas by Cynthia Keller (2010) and her latest "A Plain and Fancy Christmas" by Keller 2011.

Great post to share. Will have some books to look up. Thanks. - Pat
